Kiva Leibowitz

Office Manager

Kiva is the Office Manager at Charles St Dental and has known Dr. Lee since 2020. With over 10 years of experience in administration and office management roles at a variety of companies in youth sports, education, technology, start-ups, and venture capital, Kiva feels right at home working at Charles St Dental. With her experience and a 5-star customer service course from the Ritz Carlton under her belt, Kiva brings a positive and happy demeanor to work with the goal of making every patient's experience the best it can be.

Kiva grew up on Cape Cod and graduated from Wheelock College with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. As a former nationally-ranked synchronized figure skater, Kiva still enjoys being active: hiking, skiing, and walking her dog, Zeke, around the city as much as possible—or slowing down: reading or knitting baby blankets while watching documentaries.

Esther Yi

Dental Assistant

Esther hails from Michigan, where she completed her undergraduate education at Kalamazoo College and a master’s degree in Physiology at the University of Michigan. Currently, she is a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) student at Tufts University. Esther received a full-ride scholarship to dental school through the National Health Services Corp. Upon graduation, she will be practicing dentistry in an underserved community. During her time in Boston, Esther has been heavily involved with community outreach and engagement, especially in Chinatown. In her free time, you can find her with her dog, working out, or trying out new recipes!

Juliana Barounis

Dental Assistant

Juliana is originally from Westwood, MA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Hispanic Studies at Boston College. Thereafter she attended Boston University School of Public Health where she received her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Law and Global Health. She is currently a student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine class of 2026. Juliana is passionate about educating the community in oral health practices and looks forward to continuing to do so in her future career as a dentist. In her free time, Juliana loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, and run marathons!

Angela Lee

Dental Assistant

Originally from Brookline, MA, Angela Lee is a certified dental assistant and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology at Northeastern University. She plans on attending dental school after graduation and enjoys providing comfortable and quality care to patients at Charles Street Dental.

With a passion for education and bridging the gap between opportunity and accessibility, Angela spends most of her time outside of class volunteering and organizing enrichment programming for youth and families in the Roxbury Community. When she’s not busy with work and school, Angela also enjoys traveling, live music, cooking, and having fun with her friends and family.

Dariana Diaz

Dental Assistant

Dariana Diaz graduated dental school back in 2017 in the Dominican Republic after seeing a need in her community. In 2018, she moved to the United States to be with her family. Dariana worked as a dental assistant in New York before moving to Boston and joining Charles Street Dental. She is hoping to get her license to practice as a hygienist or dentist in the US in the future. She loves working alongside Dr. Lee and learning from her. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places with her family and young son, and improving her fluency in English!
